Linda Hardy
Linda Hardy began painting for pleasure after retirement from her medical practice. Having no formal art education, she first painted under the tutelage of David Mascaro at Mascaro Studio and Gallery, and continued for several years until his death. She paints primarily in acrylics using a loose, painterly style. Her focus is on landscapes that capture her appreciation for the beauty of the surrounding area and the Georgia and South Carolina low country marshes and tidal streams.
Linda is represented by Art on Broad in Augusta, and exhibits her work regularly in local and regional venues. Her work has been accepted and awarded in juried shows in the CSRA and may be found in private homes and corporate offices across the United States. She lives in Augusta with her husband, Dr. Arlie Fiveash, two dogs and a cat.
Jack Roy
Born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri, I moved to Columbia County Georgia in 1985. Much of my art is what I remember of the late 1940’s. A time when neighborhoods in large inner cities were peaceful, safe and exciting. I am thankful to have been blessed with such good memories and dreams of a beautiful past. I express my art in Impression and Surrealism. My goal is to produce art that can reach into the hearts and minds of people and enable them to see the simple, but beautiful life there is in both urban and rural America.
