The Savannah River Artists enjoy expressing their creativity in a variety of mediums: watercolor, acrylics, colored pencil and oils. Several began their art careers in their youth, whereas others came to painting in adulthood. All honed their talent through classes with noted artists Jim Gensheer and Suzanne Thigpen and other internationally renowned artists. Teresa Damron prefers watercolor and colored pencil; Sally Van Peursem and Christine O’Meara enjoy watercolor, acrylics and oils, and Laurie Cordaro paints solely in watercolor, enjoying its vast challenges and portability.
Work will be hung in the Art Hall through September 2, 2022.
Art Hall open to the public Monday – Friday, 9 am – 5 pm
