ARTIST BIOS

THERON CARTWRIGHT is a freelance artist based in Augusta, Georgia, known for his portraiture, commercial art, and public art projects. A graduate of Delaware College of Art and Design, he has traveled extensively to showcase his work at festivals and conventions. Theron is dedicated to constantly evolving as an artist, experimenting with various styles and mediums, including illustration, digital art, and animation. 

KATHLEEN TSAI CHANDLER grew up in North Augusta and graduated with a BFA from Savannah College of Art and Design in 1994. While fashion and dance have shaped her creative process, she presently loves painting as a contemplative act, gravitating toward abstract botanicals. She has been married to Jack for twenty-seven years and has two young adult children.

DEEPTI MALIK is a self-taught contemporary artist who is drawn to the beauty of animals and birds. Professionally a dietician she pursued her love for art through illustration before transitioning into her true calling for visual arts two years ago. She tries to capture the harmony between animals and their surroundings through her unique process of combining realism with a subtle abstraction. Her pieces immerse you in a world of wonder. 

SINDHU PILLAI is a contemporary landscape painter known for her bold use of color and exploration of strength and fragility. Her acrylic works transform local scenes into vivid, dreamlike compositions and have been exhibited in galleries across Augusta and nationwide.
