Artist Bios

Becca Anchor

Becca Anchor is an artist and educator. As cliche as it sounds, she has been creating as long as she remembers but took her first watercolor class in 6th grade. Becca studied ceramics at Clemson University and then pursued her graduate degree in Art Education at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. She now teaches ceramics full time back in her home town of Augusta, GA. Becca is passionate about cultivating an artistic practice alongside her teaching and loves being able to share her work with collectors near and far.

Mary Houston

Art is an important part of life which brings joy to Mary and hopefully to others as well. Mary primarily paints in acrylics and enjoys hearing what different subjects and shapes individuals find in her abstract paintings.

Alice Houston Miles

Alice Houston Miles grew up around art. Her mother, Mary Houston, was her first and greatest influence! After studying traditional oil painting techniques in Greece after college, Alice began her painting career in earnest. She started using primarily acrylics and developed a loose, airy style. Her subject matter varies from landscapes, to fish, to abstracts, to still lifes—all connected by a common theme—color!
