• The Blanton Garden Tea has been a coveted special event for twenty years with patrons eagerly anticipating the gracious hospitality of its hosts, Patty and Dan Blanton, in their remarkable Appling gardens. Thanks to the generosity of the Blantons, this event has raised more than $200,000 in support of the ongoing preservation of historic Sacred Heart Cultural Center.

• The Blantons have decided not to host this event in 2026. However, event organizers are exploring other locations for a 2026 Garden Tea to benefit Sacred Heart.
