Thomas A. Needham was raised in Redondo Beach, California where his love of art, the ocean, and athletics shaped his artist’s sense of form and motion. A graduate of California’s Art Center College of Design, Mr. Needham has received numerous honors and awards for his oil, acrylic, and watercolor paintings. Currently, the artist resides in Appling, Georgia, where he paints and teaches painting classes at the Gertrude Herbert Institute of Art in Augusta. Mr. Needham’s paintings showcase the American scene, both past and present.
Through watercolor, acrylic, and oil Pat Warren reveals her interest in the beauty of representational painting. Her work in abstract impressionism focuses on how light falls on form, applying harmonious brushstrokes, engaging high hue while reserving respect for life and natural form. There is a spontaneous approach to her varied subjects and an obvious contemporary style resulting in a uniqueness of the ordinary.
